Saturday, November 11, 2017 - lemon yellow - oaky nose with abundant fruit of white peaches, ripe apples and caramel - big fruit carries over into the mouth with a full rich body and very nice acid balance - long smooth finish - doesn't taste alcoholic despite 14.1% EtOH - a huge fruit-rich chardonnay which initially tasted over-extracted and overly oaked, but actually was fuller, richer and more focused 24h later - will reserve judgement until waiting 1-2 h after decanting before drinking the next bottle
