Sunday, January 13, 2013 - Dense purple color staining the glass with distinct dark fruit on the nose which is apparent from several feet away. Thick texture on the tongue and a full bodied wine, well balanced acidity and tannins, though young, very approachable. Chocolate, mild hints of leather, cassis, on the palate with a very long finish. Popped and poured then tasted 24 hours later after sealed with argon. Fantastic each time. Hard to find California bordeaux blend that is better.
