Saturday, January 16, 2021 - This is truly a great wine and in a perfect place right now. We had this with home made pan seared filet mignon and it was perfect. This does not need to be decanted and was ready to go right out the bottle. The nose was very tertiary at this point - lots of leather, eucalyptus, and still a decent dose of dark fruit. The palate is smooth, rich, medium complexity. The tannins are nicely integrated at this point. This gives you a couple of waves of fruit as your drink it. Really pleasant and easy drinking. The finish is medium - lasts for about 20 seconds. Overall really enjoyable wine!
