Saturday, March 31, 2012 - Dense dark red color. Smells like wet soil, decayed flowers, sweet wood. Very dry taste lingers on palate, of berries, plums, pepper, but overpowered by oak. Long earthy finish. Some slight variation in the two bottles I drank.
