Friday, December 28, 2012 - From magnum. Bit of barnyard on the nose; also dried fruit and leaves. The palate is slightly thin on fruit, but a nice grippy texture w/ lively acid/tannins made this an excellent wine to eat with dinner. Overall pretty characteristic of the region, I thought. A nice example of CC that is on the lighter/elegant side of the spectrum.
