Monday, February 13, 2017 - Strong nose of earth, leather, herbs, vegatables. Very good fruity sour cherry and balsamic taste. Bright acidity. Some cherry aftertaste. Overall straight forward. Better with food. Typical Chianti sangiovese profile. The structure was quite good and solid, with good tannin. It's an above-average non-riserva grade Chianti Classico.
