Thursday, August 19, 2010 - Had this with grilled lamb chops with an olive tapenade......perfect match! This is my 5th time with this wine...and it doesn't waiver. Smooth and dark berry fruit, complexed well with aged cedar spice, leather, olive, dried wintergreen tobacco leaves. Smooth and round with the merlot, yet still has quite a kick with some dusty dry tannins. Finishes with chocolate covered cherries with a dusting of cedar. Love it!
