Saturday, April 18, 2015 - Nose of smoke, meat. Fruit is faint. Ripe mid palate, very ripe finish that contains plenty of fruit and acidity. Simple but enjoyable. Maybe just a touch of heat on the finish.

P.S. With time, raspberry cream becomes apparent in the nose, but also becoming increasingly apparent that this is not a particularly complex wine, and is done in a round and ripe style - but the acidity saves the day.
