Saturday, June 27, 2015 - HDH auction tasting at Tru (Chicago, IL): Waxy and fruity on the nose. The palate has extraordinary depth, with lots of spice and tropical fruit, with none of the sweetness. A barely perceptible touch of oak on the palate as well, bolstered by high (by white Rhone standards) acidity. Love the concentration and complexity on this. One of the best white Rhones I've ever had -- and by a long shot too.
