Monday, January 2, 2023 - ABV: 13.5%. 90% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot, 3% Colorino, & 2% Malvasia Nera. Gorgeous nose of dark cherries and plums mixed with leather and roasted Mediterranean herbs. Plenty of fruit on the mid-palate, lifted by the well-integrated acidity. There's also a hint of umami, followed by a pleasant, lengthy finish. This wine is still very young and has a lot of potential. I'd keep it in the cellar until the 20-year mark.
