Friday, March 4, 2011 - Couldn't decide whether to decant. Tasted right upon opening, and smelled mint & eucalyptus, as well as dark chocolate. Drank a glass w/o decanting, and decided to decant the rest to see if the "funk" smell might wear off. After decanting, a bit of the edge came off the smell & taste. It still had the eucalyptus aroma, and the taste is light red fruit. After an hour and a half or so in the decanter, the flavor kind of faded away. I think this might be best off without too much air, but still an enjoyable experience.
