Friday, March 13, 2020 - Had this before Angélus and Lafite Rothschild from the same vintage, all wines were double decanted 12 hours before dinner.
Very classical Médoc. Intense tertiary nose (cigar box and forest floor) with a hint of black currant and liquorice, on the palate fresh full and smooth with a long and very savoury finish. Great and at its peak now but there is no hurry for drinking the last bottles, there is enough structure for another 10 years.
