Friday, February 17, 2023 - A very fresh bottle that is fully mature with fading black cherry fruit and very complex notes of smoky gravel and cigar tobacco. Classic aged claret at this point.

Have to dig deep to get at them, but very much appreciate your thought on further longevity?
I've had too many great ones pass, wish it's why I have this cellar tracker. Need to start using it correctly.

2/26/2023 5:26:00 PM - The wine was very ready after a 2-hour decant but showed no signs of decay even after time in the glass. It's fully mature but should remain at this plateau for another decade or so. No rush to drink but not much reason to wait either.
