Thursday, April 10, 2014 - Medium garnet-red color. A slightly fusty nose, with wet paper, cherry, mint and fresh cow's milk. On arrival, elevated acidity; initially low tannin turning firmer with an hour's time. Flavor favors cherry and much spice from American oak. Drinkable, and in this setting very acceptable with un-sauced Memphis barbecue. Bottle #4 of four.
