Tuesday, February 10, 2015 - Made from 100 plus year old Mouvedre and Carrignan vines in the only vineyard existing in the incredibly picturesque village of Eus nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees, considered the sunniest village in France.
Dark opaque purple, with a fine sediment. Farmyard and black fruit, well balanced and long in the mouth. A wine to contemplate that develops over time. Very enjoyable. Definitely to drink with a hearty dish (we had cassoulet. .perfect!)
