Saturday, August 25, 2012 - 2009 is shaping up to be an all-round great vintage for Guigal, and this is the best version of the entry level quaffer I've seen so far.
The nose has a nice pepper and red currant profile and the palette has really good tannin integrated with the supple red fruit. There is a spicy mineral and racy acidity through to the finish. Great value.
