Thursday, December 8, 2011 - Nice little wine. This stuff seems too inexpensive for the great balance, but its not exactly serious stuff either. I like the balance of Viura/Macabeo. In addition to the bright citrus and ripe fruit on the attack, this has the fruit pit thing going on that adds a hint of bitterness and really balances the wine nicely. Also, despite the ripeness this is dry. Where this really excels is balance, if you like a S. France style white. I don't think I would confuse this for chardonnay, but for the price, I'd rather drink this than any $6 chard. Great QPR. 87+?
