Thursday, November 4, 2021 - Second tasting of this wine - last time was in the spring of 2017. Medium gold. This is savory and fully mature but still showing a certain freshness, offering aromas of dried apple, pear tart, fresh quince, preserved lemon, blanched cashews, dried daffodils and a chalky minerality. Medium bodied on the palate with nearly high acidity this is still very bright and zippy with tons of dry extract providing emphasis to the rich but lithe texture. I don't see any point to holding on to this any longer but well-stored bottles shouldn't be over the hill.
