Saturday, November 9, 2019 - Really nice wine and far superior to its sister wine Reva of the same vintage. This is fully mature, but not over the hill, and was extremely generous on the palette, especially when compared to the 86 Gruaud Larose drunk beside it. A mountain of red and blue berries, ash, mint, black tea, and a nice dose of minerality made this a crowd pleaser, this was a nicely structured New World wine that was not cloying or overly sweet like some big NW wines can be. Fun juice.
