Saturday, November 22, 2014 - Deep dark center, red rim with surprisingly little signs of age.
Sweet cassis, a little toasty, dried plums, a bright cherry note.
Smooth and complex, blackberries and blackcurrant, some plums, good tannin and acidity, mouth coating rich fruit, some blood and iron, vinous, a little green, dried undergrowth, long taut finish.
Great Forman cab. Mixture of new and old world. Drinking well now, but has the legs for a few more years.
