Saturday, June 2, 2012 - Pop-n-pour, medium garnet color. Tart red fruits backed up by a resinous pine needle and earthy component. Not exactly what I'd call "elegant" - full-bodied and almost viscous/sappy, but flavors are in balance and quite delicious, and this wine should be set for an interesting evolution over the next several years.
