The wine is definitely young and full of potential. Has a lot of life in it too and this will be another 1991 so patience is virtue. However it is by no means a bad time to enjoy this. The nose is roast meat, spices, red fruits, smoky edge and with a cocoa finish. Concentrated on the palate but not overpoweing not overly sweet (2003 afterall). The tannin is still very firm but no sharp angles here. Prettyy solid wine . 94 for now but if indeed it rolls like a 1991 this will be in the high 90s in a few years. Now for the lovers of younger richer wines this will be a masterprice now.
