Monday, May 30, 2016 - This is my first Paul Hobbs Beckstoffer To-Kalon Vineyard Cabernet so I picked up this 1.5ml bottle to enjoy with the family. This is a masculine yet elegant and focused Cab that is well made. Beautiful and fragrant violet like nose. On the palate, gorgeous purity, crème de cassis, and a penetrating floral essence. Stewed dark fruit, prunes, anise, full-bodied with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Integrated tannins and fleshy, tasty character.
