Tuesday, December 26, 2023 - Deep dark center, red rim with surprisingly modest signs of age.
Intense nose of blueberries and black raspberries, toasted oak.
Complex, blackcurrants and blueberries, polished wood, a touch of rosemary, oak barrel char, salted black olives, good tannin and acidity, fantastic long finish.
Fantastic Monte Bello, better on day 2 - so more time in bottle advised.
