Thursday, March 9, 2023 - From magnum. A tremendous large scale wine that retains magnificent purity and elegance despite being big. This was showing quite hedonistically with robust mouth filling ripe red fruits, Asian spice, and floral elements in abundance. The extremeness of vintage likely showing here as the fruit is the main star and in this format, giving only a glimpse likely of the longer term potential at further complexity and nuance. Fantastic now, but this should get much better. A real treat and blessing to have experienced this wine of wines.
