Thursday, March 18, 2010 - I have found the 04 vintage of Chablis to be very enjoyable. This wine was no exception. Pale straw yellow. Wonderful nose of lemon, mineral and chalk. Palate a little more subdued than I would have hoped for, but still very good. Soft hints of citrus combined with balanced mineral elements. Missing that steely intensity I like and look for in a Grand Cru Chablis. No Premox or other flaws.
