Does not like this wine:

Wednesday, July 8, 2015 - I've held off writing this note until we consumed the last of our 3 bottles. I'm purposefully not rating it (or any of the others), because I can't really see how I could give them any score even approaching anything reasonable, and will therefore simply leave the note as a caveat for the reader to make their own mind up about....

All three bottles of this wine were simply boring. Firstly, there seemed no signs of any damage, and they've been in my possession for the majority of their lives. I do not believe they were flawed, though my knowledge of White Burgundy is far from encyclopaedic.

Secondly, I've tried various temperatures, times, accompaniments and glasses to see if I could tease something different from them. Nothing, just boredom and an overwhelming sense of being ripped off paying for the name not the content. With the second bottle, accompanying seafood, we resorted to opening an Ormarine Picpoul de Pinet, which at around a 5th the price was 10 times the wine.

I might add that I've had a handful of other Fevre Grand Cru and Premier Cru over the last few years, and have had this same crushing sense of disappointment. Perhaps my palate no longer appreciates Chablis? Or at least Fevre?
