Saturday, March 28, 2015 - HDH Burgundy Auction (Chicago, IL): Very pale colour. Light sulphur, chalk, lemon on the nose. The palate has acidity that is even more powerful than usual. Lots of salt water and lemon juice, but that belies an amazing palate density. Rich unctuous texture. This is what chardonnay is all about.
