95 Points

Wednesday, September 27, 2023 - This is superb for my taste. Opens with a brilliant deep nose - with both salty and creamy notes building the complexity. On the palate the wine remains fresh, though shows just a touch of its 13 years of age now. But the acids are still focused like a laser. The citrus is gorgeous. Minerality galore. Close to Grand Cru quality here (unless you like your white Burgs to be fat...this will not give you that). In fact, the wine tightens up with time in the glass (becoming more linear and almost painfully precise), seeming to indicate there is more to unfurl with further aging. Will hold further bottles for a while, but if you have more than a few, checking in now will bring great pleasure!
