90 Points

Sunday, November 17, 2013 - Strong aromas of ripe fruit, blackcurrants and dark plums, herbs and chocolate.
Very dry, first thing that strikes is how elegant it feels in the mouth the extreme fruitiness of the wine, a little tart and very spicy, this really has got a kick to it but it still somehow conveys a smoothness and complexity. It's aged for 8 - 12 months in a mixture of French, Slavonian and American Barriques resulting in hints of smokey/ash and vanilla.
