Let it decant for a couple of hours but there were odd chemical notes that never blew off, and the wine was off as well. Second bottle (rated here) much better. Color great. Lots of good fruit still. Medium bodied. Only nit is palate, while not ‘short’ just doesn’t linger with a lot of big flavor. (Opened a 2002 right after, much more promising.)
