Friday, December 23, 2011 - On the nose smooth rich oak and ripe citrus fruits. The palate is actually quite complex, and enters with a slight woody taste, wet matches rather than cedar or oak – TCA? The palate continues with lemon, apple and just a hint of tropical fruits or coconut. This wine is quite intense and racy at the same time and a good length. Good potential although I’m not sure about the wet match thing.
