Tuesday, December 19, 2006 - Decanted for about 30 minutes before tasting and drank over the next 2 hours. Good right away, but at it's best at the end of the night. Light sediment, deep purple in color. Excellent nose of cinnamon, dark fruits, cherry, and smoke. This all follows through on the palate. A very balanced and lush wine that just got better and better with each sip. Either hold or decant for a couple hours.
