Monday, October 17, 2005 - this was the 1st bottle for me out of my cellar. i had this last year from magnum. opened and decanted for 1 hr into a very wide bottom decanter. the color was almost black all the way to the rim. the nose was gorgeous and intense. on the palate it was very smooth and had a velvet like texture. full of typical napa cab flavors like vanilla, chocolate, cassis, dark fruits and some warm toasty oak. a solid wine for a very reasonable price. i have 5 more left and some mags. i will hold for another year before popping my next one.
