Sunday, November 20, 2011 - Solid Cote-Rotie. Hard to believe this is their baseline wine from the village. Still very young. This opened up beautifully over some hours in the glass. Nice blackberry fruit interwoven with complex notes of gamey iron/blood, iodine, olive. Moderate long finish, with beautiful balance.
