Deep bright purple in colour, nose is fairly explosive, first sip is voluptuous and very typically Morey fruit. Loads of density, persistent midpalate and finish, ripe rhubarb/plummy fruit. But with air it starts to tighten and whilst it remains delicious the promise of the first 5 minutes is not fulfilled. The remainder of my case will stay hidden for a few years now but I will be anticipating a treat. ***1/2 (*)
