Sunday, April 28, 2019 - Decanted ~3 hrs. I've enjoyed more than 12 bottles of this over the years and this has been by far the best bottle. Still youthful, full of tar, a creamy texture developed as it got more air, good tannins and acidity, dark berry fruit and a long finish. Other bottles I've had, from the same case, haven't shown this level of complexity and youthfulness. This bottle was rocking on all cylinders and still showed some upside potential. I've got a 3L of this which I'll leave in the cellar for a while longer and hope it shows as good as this one.
