Saturday, November 24, 2018 - Three years on from last having this wine, it is still vibrant and fresh. I was hard on it last time, but that must have been an off bottle. The winery's self-proclaimed "hedonistic" vintage, it definitely has ripeness over refinement. It screams and oozes sweet raspberry on both the nose and palate, and yet has a powerful anchor of earth and wet stone. Mouthfeel is medium-full and the solid acidity carries through from start to finish. An atypical style, but still excellent.
