Monday, May 5, 2014 - Day before holiday "DBH" lunch with JL, TH and Ms Han (Cipriani, Hong Kong): Fulsome, densely red and delightfully forward, I would have had trouble placing it as a 2004 burg (many of which, even the delicious ones made by DRC, are light pink). Plush strawberry and cranberry on the palate, with nice mineral complexity, substantive weight and good grippy finish, I think this wine is perfect for drinking over the 2-3 years. Very nice and great job Monsieur Ponsot
