Sunday, September 23, 2012 - More educational than satisfying. Clear development on the nose, with a prominent aromas of mentol, white pepper, and kerosine. The palate was more traditional, with peach and green apples flavors. No great indications of oak treatment on this thinning wine, though certainly it received some oak. Hard to detect at 10 years of age. A bit flabby in the mouth too.
