On the palate ripe dark cherries, ripe blueberries, soft plum, some licorice, soft menthol notes and some wet forest floor. Medium (+) bodied with a medium acidity. Chewy tannins, nicely integrated. Fantastic fruit structure and an elegant mouth texture. Incredible overall complexity and balance. Very long and savory finish. (IG)
