Sunday, August 1, 2010 - Ahhhh.....brought back this bottle from our trip to Italy in 2000. Celebrating our 18th anniversary with osso buco and mushroom risotto. Fantastic. I've just gotten where I love the dark cherry, mineral, dried fruit, herbiness, and coffee notes of these wines. Medium-full bodied. Long finish. Great food wines. Barely showing age, cork in perfect condition, lovely floral nose. Every moment enjoyable. Drink or hold.
