Saturday, December 18, 2010 - Purchased on a trip to Siena in 2002. Probably best decanted. Upon opening was tight with an intense floral, espresso and black cherry fruit nose. This wine shows no sign of peaking yet. The long finish emphasized intense fruit and dried anise and mint.
