Thursday, March 6, 2014 - Dinner at Browntrout (Browntrout - Chicago, IL): Unbelievable wine and the best 2010 Vatan Sancerre I've had to date. This was popped and poured and the floral and herbal aromas leaped out of the bottle. I didn't want to stop smelling this wine as it had one of the best aromas I've come across lately. The palate was dense with flavor, but light as air. Lots of pear, lime, and lemons with an airy white floral tone. Acidity was off the charts too.
