90 Points

Monday, January 18, 2016 - This wine was quite a nice surprise. I was kind of expecting it to be a mess, but it wasn't. Not in the least. Blackberry and blueberry pie notes dominate, with hints of fig, plum, and a savory bbq element. The palate is more lifted and black cherry accented. Supple in the mouth with a just a touch of acidity on the finish. Drinking really well now but certainly could hold for a couple more years. 90-91 points
