Wednesday, December 30, 2015 - Dinner with mature Left Bank Bordeaux (Restaurant van Baerle, Amsterdam): Well delineated on the complex nose with earth, (orange) fruits, cedar and iron notes. Full bodied, smooth and super elegant on the palate with enough fruit and tannin for another 20 years of further aging. Long lingering on, a smooth end with some iron notes. Not as pronounced (on the palate) as some other bottles.
