Sunday, April 2, 2017 - Color is on the light side for a cab. The nose is comprised of good oak, forest floor, menthol, hot stone, and cassis. The palate is more of the same but the finish is a bit short. Not a bad wine overall. I like how it's not packed with fruit and vanilla. At this age, this is drinking very smooth. This is an earthy wine, which I love. The only caveat to this wine is the thin palate. Had it been more dense, it would've been spectacular.
