Saturday, March 7, 2020 - Almost six years since I last tasted this, and the wine has held up very well. It has that magical colour of well-matured white Burgundy, intense but lively, a green-tinged full buttercup yellow; the nose opens up beautifully in the glass, with wonderfully fresh and complex aromas, an array of citrus fruits, flowers and green herbs, and still an attractive hint of matchstick; the palate is firmly structured, fresh and well defined, elegant and flowing, without any signs of decay or fatigue, although it has lost some of its flesh; the finish is light but displays a nice succulence and length is very good. Fully mature, but still with some time in hand.
