Wednesday, June 18, 2014 - Decanted for 45 minutes. Opaque ruby red, with a slightely yeallowish rim. Despite the fervency, aromas reveal themselves right away. Ripe plums and blueberrys along with an oak and earthy scent. Pleasurable. Palate and flavours here are intense. Blackberry and black spices combined with a sophisticated bitterness of dark chocolate and coffee. This lustiness is reinforced on a intense and savory finish. Juicy, this full body is tanic and fresh, and might improve with more time. Nice and surprising pinotage wine, clearly taking advantage of the good intensity of the cabernet grape. Great qpr. 89-90
