Tuesday, June 12, 2012 - Brownish red, middle deep. Mature bouquet, that reminds me of old Barolo. Slightly metallic and herbaceous, coffee, white pepper, grilled paprika. Fresh entry in the mouth, turns serious and a little mirky pretty quickly. Earthy, fine tannic structure, medium bodied, dried herbs, some Cab Franc greenness. Could have used some extra concentration and fruit, but this is a decent wine. Although not for everyone's palate, me thinks.
